Cuti: Part 1

44 days before my flight back to Malaysia. Currently spending a lot of precious times with my dearie girls and Wear. Well, we did nothing much. Just movies and foods and chatting and that's all. Heee doesn't matter what we do, the most important part is how we do it, right?

Also just finished a novel, My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Well, a very brilliant novel. Not too heavy with metaphor, simple but unexpected. This novel revolves around a 13 year old teenager who files a lawsuit against her parents because she doesn't want to donate a kidney to her sister who's dying of cancer. This happens after she's been questioning who she really is, and she gets to know that she is genetically made children, so that she can donate bone marrow, blood and all to her sister.

And currently reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. Actually I watched the movie a few months ago. Well, the movie was good but I decided to buy the book because I didn't think any movies would be well portrayed as in the novel. Well, that's just my opinion. This one is about a doctor who sends away his daughter who is a Down syndrome child right after her birth because he thinks the child won't live long and he kind of doesn't want his wife to be sad if the child dies. But of course la he totally wrong and he lives with the feeling of guilt all his life.

And my wish list right now is the Road. I took a brief peek at it and I think it is very well written despite of its very little pages. Really can't wait to have this one!
