And my 2015 most favorite movie goes to.....BA DUM TSS....

The Martian!!!!!!!

Unlike another space travel movie that I watched end of last year..this movie wins my heart big time...based on Andy Weir's novel which I haven't read yet but surely gonna do soon, the movie is about an astronaut cum botanist who was left stranded on Mars after his crews left him, thinking he was dead after being hit by debris during their escape from a terrible storm on Mars..so left alone in a non habitable planet..he had to figure out how to keep living with limited supplies..intriguing? Yes? No?

Anyway...here are the reasons why I love this movie...well..

1- The lead character, Mark Watney has a fun and likeable character..he is totally gonna crack you up with his witty dialogue..my most memorable one..."in your face Neil Armstrong"..lol

2- I love the story line..it's all about human instinct..human instinct to survive...human instinct to help out... human instinct to keep our sanity in the most difficult and loneliest time

3- The pace of the movie is not too slow..not too fast..the pace is just nice for me to digest the story

4- Understandable scientific jargon

5- now i know duct tapes solved almost every problem

6- tells me how important it is to know how to plant for food..and know how to get clean water..which I know nothing..gotta start to learn planting now

7- It is all about applied science and not trying to prove some metaphysics equation...so it doesn't leave me asking myself "what the hell did I just watched?"

8- watching Watney cried when he was going home...reminded me of the feeling I had when I came back to Malaysia for good..the mixed feeling of joy..glad..sad..full of worries...I totally can relate to that...

9- The red planet...it's so scenic...so beautiful that if it's habitable..I don't mind spending all my savings to go there(actually it is shot in Wadi Rum in Jordan..so..yeah..go to Jordan first)

10- It's Matt Damon y'all





This one is surely gonna worth your money...hey even NASA has broadcasted it on its space station...they seem like heavily rooting for this movie...

So if you love sci-fi movie...GO..just go now and watch The Martian!

[Self- reminder] Things to be grateful for....

Having the two little princesses waking me up in the middle of the night for milk or simply asking to scratch their back...be grateful...it means I am still alive

Having to cook, bathe, clean, clean again, forcefully have to do roleplay as a carrot or sing silly songs hundreds of times to them and damn they are tiring...be grateful..it means I am healthy enough to be a fully functional mother to them

Having to stuck at home all weekend, or leave the work knowing that some people just doesn't like it and (ahemmmm) accuse me being an irresponsible worker, or stay up all night taking care my sick kids...be grateful..it means I have kids who love me unconditionally that they need me...not anybody else to take care of them when they are sick




I complain a lot...hell a lot I think my husband gonna throw up the minute I open my mouth...but deep down inside..I am grateful for the things god has gave me...

Though at times..I feel sorry for not being the best mom and I always lose my temper..but i thank god my kids are the most forgiving human creature in the world...and I am thankful for that...

Be grateful..no matter how rough your life is..there are beauty in it...and most of the time...they are always in disguise...you just need to find it...find it in your flaw..then you will see..your life is not bad at all

Digi Kpop Party 2011

Last week (13/1) dapat free passes dari Era Rentak Muzik Terkini untuk menonton Digi Kpop Party. *Thank you Era* weeee..macam mana dapat free passes? It started few months ago....

I was invited by Era to be on one of their popular segments, Pagi di Era bersama Pak Nil, Ray dan Hanif. Topiknya adalah Demam Korea...saya dijemput ke segmen tu dengan Sophia Suraya...one of my friends yang pernah muncul dekat TV Korea as a panel for a Korean Talk Show, Chit Chat with beauties...hehe thanks to Basz sebab introduce saya dekat En Zizan, penerbit Pagi di Era tu... see...betapa lama nya tak update...nak story pon dah tak tau nak story apa sebab dah lupa *sweat*

Tapi diorang ni memang giler cool dan gilerrrrr sporting dan gilerrrr besss sangat-sangat *two thumbs up* gelak tak ingat...in between time tengah air lagu pun diorang melawak...sebelum pergi punya lah nervous..dah pergi..rasa macam nak conquer je konti tu..haha bukan nak caras diorang tau...maksudnya selesa sampai felt at home..boleh? melampau la kalau rasa macam dekat rumah..haha


And months later, En Zizan called me...tanya pergi ke tak ke Digi Kpop Party and being me...memang plan nak pergi tapi tiket tak beli-beli jugak *sweat* I was busy with things..tu yang lupa...so En Zizan offered me two passes to go to Digi Kpop Party dekat Stadium Negara on that day *yayyyyyyy* ..since kebetulan encik heols kerja half day on that day. So I asked him to pick the passes at Astro sebab saya habis kerja pukul 6 petang...of course la tak sempat..konsert pulak start pukul 8 malam. So around 615 encik heols dah terpacak depan office and off we were to Stadium Negara. Kononnya tak nak drive sebab jam, jadi kami naik public transport..rupa-rupanya jalan clear langsung tak jam. Haihh..

Sampai dekat Stadium Negara dah pukul 810 malam, dari kejauhan dah dengar suara orang bersorak *lari laju-laju* Fuhhhh nasib baik..rupa-rupanya konsert tak start lagi..yeahhh...penat sungguh berlari-larian anak :$ Masuk je terus pergi ke bahagian Platinum..betul-betul depan stage..free standing so dah ready pakai flat shoes sebab nak melompat-lompat kan..tau tau je lah..lagu Korea kan berentak cucuk langit sikit ;P;P theee..

Malam tu, artis yang datang adalah BEAST, G.Na dan 4minute.

Show dimulakan dengan G.Na..ouhhh sangat cantik!! Dalam TV nampak sedikit berisi..rupa-rupanya giler kurus!! Tapi memang cantik la dia ni...saya sangat enjoy dia nyanyi lagu "I'll Back Off So You Can Leave"...sangat bes..

G.Na nyanyi 3 lagu malam tu..lepas G.Na turn 4minute pulak nyanyi...pun sangat bes!!! tapi saya tau sikit je lagu 4minute :D so cuma melompat kegirangan tengok diorang menyanyi.

Last stage adalah Beast...serius best!! sangat-sangat energetic dan fun! Diorang pon macam enjoy menyanyi that night. Diorang nyanyi banyak lagu..antaranya Breath, Shock dan lain-lain.

Budak-budak BEAST tu sumpahhhhhhh comel!! Terus fefeling jatuh hati..haha sepanjang malam saya gigih bagi tahu encik heols saya nak kawin dengan Doo Jun..haha dia iyakan je la..nak buat macam mana..ada gepreng saiko macam saya *erkk matilaa cakap diri sendiri gila kan*

After One Year

Ye ye.. blog ni dah mcm idup segan mati tak mau dah..I know I know..dah lebih setahun since I last updated the blog. I even thought about closing the blog a couple months ago but wear and Yasmin told me not to. So, I sort of re-read all the OLD entries when I realized that, there are lots of memories here. Raya, jalan2, sedih, marah, happy moments. I am not the type of person who love taking photos in every occasion I attend, but my friends do. They share with me all the photos and I put them here. As the time goes by, I forgot all the precious moments but this blog still has all of it. So sayang to buang..kan kan? And wear also said that; bile dah beranak pinak nnt, bleh la selak2 balik, recall all the good moments, then cerita dekat anak2. This is my friend, your auntie/uncle___. We went here and there and this and that happened. Owww bunyi cam bestt!!! Yer la..this blog is some sort of diary la..I never think of it that way. But now after a few years passed by and I started to grow old and forget simple things, I think I should just make this blog as my diary. Tak terlewat lagi kan?

To catch up, 1 year has passed by and I gained almost nothing; say it my job, diet, and all..

ㅜㅜ But I am starting over again. Boleh?? berape kali da nk start over. Anyhow!

• I managed to have 3 different jobs in 1 year. AAAAAA..rase pathetic plak..yes!!! I am still searching for hala tuju idup, what I want to do, what I want my life to be in 10 to 20 years...how I want my life to end up with...currently searching for the job that I really2 want to do..Hope not too late to find one.
• Many of my friends already gotten married. Me? tengah tunggu cincin la ni...hehe I'm definitely gonna work my a$$ off to get the wedding that I want; full with pink and white fresh roses~~~or perhaps wild roses in maroon? but roses everywhere la...and not to forget the body that can fit the wedding dress ㅜㅜ
• Still waiting for my bank account to have enough money so that I can buy Audi S4..or at least A4..:P ye ye..anak sulung umur 18 thn br dpt bli kot..tp..who cares..
• Abandoned my cooking hobby, and turned my old hobby into much more fun new hobby; eating out...how happy my future husband will be, won't him?
• Diet? nahh..don't mention that words to me...I don't even know what that means..kidding..wear mesti marah ni...I started working out lately..I gained XXkgs (menangis aku bace ni) lps balik msia..now dah turun few kgs..currently enjoying TAEBOing and RUNNING very much
• what else? ermm sekarang dah beauty and health conscious? not yet but going towards that...I'm getting old after all..

That's all I can think of right now. Got to prepare stuffs to bring to hiking tomorrow with my baby, Syaz...yay..

Autumn

Assalamualaikum

Last Saturday, me and a bunch of buddies went to Yeoido Park to take autumn pictures and picnicking. Our activity started at 8 where me and my girl friends prepared sandwiches and sushi@kimbab as our dosirak@bento@lunch box. We finished preparing the foods around 11, and left the dorm at 12. I was quite worried at first because it was really cloudy and it seemed like rain would pour down anytime soon. And I was right! The shower poured down as soon as we arrived there. ㅠㅠ~ Luckily it didn't last too long. And lucky us that the sun shone brightly after the shower. Yay!

We left Yeoido Park around 5 and off to Jongno to have dinner. After dinner, we went to Coffee Bean Cheongyecheon and met Wear and Azmizal, who were also went outing to take autumn pictures at Geyongbukkung (I guess)..and chatted till 12 in the midnight!!! Gilo...Balik tu memang kepale pusing2..pastuh telinge ni terngiang2 je suare orang gelak2 sembang2..Penat! But FUN!!!! I love my friends!!

Annual Dinner Part 2

Anyway, my batch is called 70 batch because there are 70 members in it, and we are divided into two groups: final year student and 3rd year student for those who are taking 5 years courses. And 27th February is the date that we'll be going back to Malaysia for good. Happy watching~

Leaving on the Jet Plane

Assalamualaikum wth.

Tonight, I'll be attending annual dinner and final year students' farewell ceremony...farewell..yes it's farewell..Me and most of my dear friends will be leaving Korea soon. I feel like I am not yet ready to leave this place, to leave the memories, to leave my friends, and to start a new life. En Hanisan, JPA Officer has confirmed that we'll be leaving on 27th February. I first heard it from En Hanisan's secretary, Kak Teh. She said; the flight would be either on the end of February or early in March. That time, I felt nothing but eagerness to go back home. I hated to stay here. The studies were difficult and my final year project had been limiting me from enjoying my life here. But when En Hanisan confirmed the date, I felt a rush of blood to my cheeks because I was so sad. I was really sad. But the reality is life must go on. No matter how hard to do so, I must take a step ahead. I hate to say this; but I am already missing my friends.

Mase time saye sekolah dulu lagi teruk..tapi bile dah datang Korea ni dah oke la sikit..tapi still ade la sikit-sikit tu...Itupon selalu incik Wear la tegur..bile saye ambik job(job ko..macam keje opis pulak) banyak-banyak..mule la die jeling-jeling kat saye...jeling tajam ye..bukan jeling manja...katenye nanti sure saye meroyan sorang-sorang bile dah keje bertimbun-timbun gitu..

Sekarang ni jam dah menunjukkan pukul 2:18 pagi, tapi saya macam biase la..tak tido-tido lagi kan. Bukan ape, saye dok kira vote kawan-kawan saye ni, sebab tadi ade buat poll sikit. So sambil-sambil tu, saye dok edit-edit homework kelas writing saye, tajuk "a lesson i've learnt" gitu. Pastuh sambil-sambil tu jugak saye gok godek-godek ape lagi...FACEBOOK laa...

Haa saye ni skarang tengah gile main Friends For Sale tu..huuu bulih ralit main beli-beli orang ni..muahahaha berjam-jam u ols saye dok main mende alah tu...

Membawa Diri

Hah gitu noh, membawa diri pulak. Bukan la merajuk ke ape, lately ni saye rase macam tak boleh la nk duduk rumah. Pandang katil tak boleh, lampu meja tak boleh, pandang almari tak boleh, pandang komputer boleh pulak :P. Korang pernah tak rase macam semua mende kat persekitaran tu nampak tak keneee aje. Haa saye rase tu semalam. Sampai saye rase nak uwek uwek noo...

Nak g jenjalan umah kengkawan, tapi tak mau la saye. Sekarang ni exam week, semua orang tgh pulun habis-habisan stadi. Jahat la saye kalau g kacau diorang stadi kan. Pastuh saye pon tanye incik wear. Dia ajak g MyeongDong, tempat hangout muda-mudi Korea ni, tapi die ade meeting dengan supervisor graduation project pulak. Lagipon takmau la saye, kesian die.

Last-last die suggest saye pegi lepak kat coffee shop dekat2 school area. Ermmm, think think. Kat situ ade Starbucks, Tom n Tom, Teaheim dengan rotiboy je. Tapi saye ngades nk minum Coffee Bean. Ngade pukul kang. Last2 saye pon pilih Tom n Tom aje, sebab kat situ memang senyap sikit. Customer die pon ramai student yang datang buat group discussion takpon stadi.

Saye pon ape lagi...cabut la pegi lepak-lepaking kan...

Hajatnye saye pegi situ, nak taip thesis saye...tapiiiiii...tengok la ape saye buat!!!

Ini baru blogging, tak lame lepas tu...saye online dekat facebook. Terus tak jadik hape keje saye...kuikui Tapi around 9pm camtu, keinsafan pon menyelubungi jiwa saye, saye pon start la taip thesis saye..

Hasilnye? Die dah separuh dahh~ Yay!

This might be the last entry as my final presentation for graduation project is one month from today and I have lots of things to settle...I hope I can get back to blogging as soon as possible.

Walaupon sudah hari ketiga, saya tetap mahu ucapkan

SELAMAT MENJALANI IBADAH PUASA BUAT SEMUA~

My sister texted me just now. Macam2 jadik dekat rumah...rase nk saje terbang pulang ke rumah, saat ni jugak. Tapi masih jugak saye pujuk2 hati saya, sabar sabar. Kakak saya pon cakap, anggapla ini dugaan di bulan puasa.

Sayu...bila kita berjauhan dengan keluarga and not able to do anything to help. Hanya doa saja mampu diberi.

Menangis...tetap tak dapat ubah apa2. Patutla saya rasa nak sangat balik rumah cuti summer hari tu. Tapi bila mengingatkan diri dengan peluang2 untuk timba pengalaman dekat tempat orang, saya tahankan diri dari membeli tiket eva airline atau cathay pacific aritu.

Saya taktau lagi bulan 12 ni saya patut balik atau tidak. Banyak lagi urusan saya kene settle dekat sini + parents saya mungkin datang bulan 2 ni. Jadi kene la saving duit nk jalan2 kan. Takkan nk pow mereka kot.

Baiklah...sudah tiba masanya untuk berfikiran positif dan optimis. Ini ujian. Ini ujian. Lagipon kakak saya kata semua ni sementara saja kot.

Hati...sabarlah..

APMUN 2008

Just got back from Asia Pacific Model United Nation Conference (APMUN 2008) in Incheon. I went there from Monday till Friday. 5 days of stay in hotel and lots of delicious food!!! Really delicious!!! But, phuuufff it was very tiring!!! In overall, the conference was really fun, I met lots of people from different countries, learned about the overall view of general assembly of UN, how the amendment-making process take place, the language or commands use in the assembly and lots more! It is a new experience for me. I've never been to any conferences or debate before. I am addicted to MUN!!! I wish I can attend such conferences other time. Assalamualaikum..

Disaat entry ini ditaip..saye dengan gembirenye sedang makan cucur bawang(cucur bawang lebih ringan jika dibancuh dengan air panas-mak kawan saya bagik tips), chick peas rebus dan air teh O' panas..sungguh sedap dan nyaman...ya itu adalah breakfast+brunch+lunch+hitea dan mungkin dinner saya sekali..hak hak..

Arinih saye hamek 2 paper mid term untuk summer school..pagi tu kol 10 saye ade paper kelas calculus dan kol 1 kelas employment...kelas employment tuh oke oke saje..saye jawab ape yang saye tau...tapi cekgu kelasnye walaupon mempunyai kemahiran critical thinking dan mulut yg suke mengkritik yang sungguh tinggi..tapi orangnye baik...manakala kelas calculus buat saye malu giler giler

Kesahnye begini...mase tgh jawab pekse tuh..cekgu itu..encik Mun Seung Jae berligar-ligaran dikawasan meja saye..membuatkan saye sangat malu lantas dengan pantas menutup kertas pekse tuh dengan tangan saye yang besar...kemudian die pon ambik port baek punye..die lepas lak seblah meja saye...pastuh saye pon perlahan-lahan membuka kertas saye sbb saye give up dah nk men sorok2 jawapan...and then die pon tunjuk la dekat soklan no 1...soklan kirenye agak mudah la..saye jawab pon dgn keyakinan yang jitu...pehtuh die tunjuk2 siap wat anak panah atas kertas tuh..saye pon padamla jawapan pon walaupon blur dgn keputusan sendirik...pehtuh die pon g depan kelas balek..saye taktau nk betulkan ape..saye pon tulih balik jawapan saye tadik..pehtuh die datang balek...lame plak tuh die lepas seblah meja saye..membuatkan saye rase nk pandang muke die..pehtuh die wat muke cenggini:

then balek tuh baru saye tau...itupon lepas wear gitau(kantoi intai kertas orang lain time pekseeee!!!!)...sbb saye jawab 1+1+1=1!!!!!!!! huwaaaaa~~~ dah la ilang markah...mesti die tertanya2 napelaa budak nih boleh terlepas masuk kelas tuh bile tambah tolak tak betul lagi...huwaaa:((
